A really racy looking daughter of sire sensation Danehill Dancer - Highclere have managed three fillies by the sire; Tiger Eye (winner of the Tattersalls 800 in 2008), Cartoon and Decorative, winner of her only start last year and rated 96p in Timeform.
Memory ran a very disappointing race in The Moyglare Stud Stakes (Gr 1) at The Curragh on 29th August and at no stage looked like winning. She finished sixth beaten a long way by the winner Misty For Me and on dismounting Richard Hughes reported that the filly never gave him the same feel as in her other races. We will have her scoped and blood tested to see if there is any problem lurking but the plan now must be for her to be aimed at the Cheveley Park Stakes (Gr 1) at Newmarket in October, which will be taking her back in trip to six furlongs and hopefully she will once again show her brilliance.
